Saturn Satellite Acquires Novawurks Inc!
I'm very proud and pleased to inform you all that we have successfully concluded an M&A transaction with Novawurks Inc, California based builder of the innovative HISat satellite platform that was designed as a small GEO satellite system from ground up. Formed in 2011, Novawurks under funding and development contracts with various US Government agencies have developed the worlds most innovative GEO satellite platform. The HISats are individual satellites that connect together (either on earth or in space) to conform to any size required by the payload. HISats allow not only infinite size of the BUS but also provide unparalleled redundancy as each Hisat has every function of a large satellite and they all work together in an organic and cellular manner to deal with failures. The HISats will serve as the basis of the Nationsat satellite program developed by Saturn as well as other NGSO constellation projects being developed at Saturn as well.
