The Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology is a private institute located in Moscow, Russia that was established in 2011. It is a collaborative effort between the public and private institution has been initiated by the Russian government with the establishment of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) in 2011 in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
